Bridgestone’s Owned Media save lives


Insight :

Traffic accidents claim over 700 lives in Lebanon and over 10,000 related injuries every year

Bridgestone wanted to raise awareness for road safety and tyres

Owned Media :

Using hundred of Bridgestone tires, they created the region’s first branded tire safety barrier for the roads

Conforming to the tire wall designs made by the Motor Racing Authorities, they placed this barrier at one of the most accident-prone areas

Results :

Accidents are down 64 % in comparison to last’s year

Extensive media coverage of the unique event helped improve awareness

The road and traffic authorities have approached Bridgestone to expand the safety program nationwide

People are slowing down on the highway, proof that Bridgestone tires do make roads safer
